Local Alaskan artist Amanda Rose Warren thrives on the energy from her work. Being primarily self-taught she sparked the love for creating art in high school pottery classes. She continued to build from those skills with custom decorated cakes. After her mother fell ill, she began auctioning off paintings to help with her medical bills and traveling expense to her chemo apts. This was the beginning of her putting brushes to canvas, and eventually guided her to really dive into acrylic art and painting more.
When Amanda’s not putting paint to canvas she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys.  “They keep me busy but also inspire a lot of my paintings that are based off love and family. Like a lot of moms I strongly connect to that” They enjoy going into nature, 4-wheeling and bike rides. however, their favorite time together is cuddled up to a Disney movie at home.
Having been raised in Alaska, the dramatic nature scenes and wildlife inspire a lot of her pieces as well. She strives to create a positive emotion with her brave use of  paint colors and contrast. She feels the most fulfilled by her custom orders and creating things that help inspire smiles and happiness. She loves working side by side her Husband Don. Don (also known as the Artistically Challenged Husband) does a ton of behind the scenes tasks. Including the wonderful canvas art prints.
They work together in there at home studio on their property in
Anchorage, Alaska.

You are sure to hear banter and laughs at events with Don and Amanda. Some say they are like the A-team, power couple goals. They like to think of each other as great wing and yang. Amanda has a wonderful support from Don and she believes it has had a huge influence on her success in her art journey.
